I am all about embracing new technology and believe we must so that we can work smarter, however efforts to preserve the power of human storytelling are more important now than ever.

As you said, the truth is AI-generated writing on its own is average at best and laced with 'hallucinations'. I'd like to believe that in a world of intelligent and aware people, the beauty and value of good, human story telling will never be replaced.
